iPhone Mobile Game Development Intern

Posted By Patrick on May 8, 2012

Want to gain experience developing the latest wine-related mobile game? spoDODÔ is a game for wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs to test their skills by looking at a visual interpretation of a published wine review to identify the wine. It’s strictly for fun, and it “illustrates” how subjective and over the top wine reviews can be.  spoDOD was developed by a wine educator and entrepreneur who has long felt that wine consumers have trouble understanding wine reviews. This game is designed to poke fun at wine reviews while providing wine consumers with links to the wineries that produce the wines and to online or bricks-and-mortar retailers that carry the wines.

We are looking for a mobile game developer who is interested in creating something new and fresh, that incorporates some of the features every mobile game should have: Social login; share achievements on a leaderboard; invites/referrals; mobile friending; and location tagging. Our ideal candidate is someone who is obsessed with mobile games and can’t wait to try the newest game on the market; who has an interest in wine; and who works well with direction but little supervision. This is a great opportunity to work directly with a wine educator and driven entrepreneur with many years of experience in both the corporate and retail space. Additionally, the intern will have the opportunity to be part of the team when we submit spoDOD as a KickstarterÒ project, to get the funding needed to bring spoDOD to market.
